DR JL Dube High School was established in 1979 in KwaMashu, north of Durban. Named after Dr John Langalibalele Dube, the school serves the local community and neighbouring areas.
The school provides Grades 8–12 and offers pathways in Sciences, Commerce and Human & Social Sciences.
School motto: Imfundo Ngumanqoba.
